Welcome to Roosevelt Elementary School, home of the Roosevelt Rocketeers! Our kindergarten through fifth grade student body is small and hails from Neenah’s Doty Island. A number of Roosevelt students are the fourth generation to attend our school. I am thrilled to serve Roosevelt’s students, staff, and community.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broad Field Social Studies, History, and Economics Education from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I continued my education with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Additionally, I have an alternative education certification and I am finishing my superintendent and school finance licenses from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I started my career in La Crosse, WI, as a middle school charter school teacher. I went on to be a principal in an alternative middle and high school in addition to starting a virtual charter school and coordinating all summer school programs for the School District of La Crosse. I am driven to find new and innovative ways to meet the needs of ALL of our students.
The Roosevelt staff and I strive to make connections with each and every student. We want every person, who steps into our building, to feel seen, valued, and heard. We strive to build strong relationships with students, so we can fully support them to reach their full potential and happiness in life.
