Neenah Adds School Day on June 6
< Back
All Neenah Joint School District schools will have classes on Friday, June 6 due to three days of cancelled classes this year.
The District was originally scheduled to conclude classes with a half day on Thurs., June 5, which will now be a full day. School will dismiss on Friday, June 6 as follows:
- Students in grades K-5 will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
- Students in grades 6-8 will be dismissed at Noon
- Students in grades 9-12 will be required to make up any missed final on Friday, June 6.
Update (2/6): Early Childhood will not have to make up the extra day and will conclude on June 5. Class times will run as usual.
Graduation ceremonies at Neenah High School will remain on June 5 at 7 p.m. The finals schedule and requirements for seniors are still being determined by high school administration.
Classes were cancelled on Jan. 6, Jan. 7 and Jan. 28 due to extreme cold weather. The school calendar allows for two inclement weather days without requiring schools to be made up, however, the third cancellation requires an extra day of school to meet the state requirement for total school days.
