Neenah Students Record Highest ACT Scores Since 2011

Neenah graduates posted their highest ACT scores since 2011 with a 24.2 composite score.
The score was significantly better than the state average of 22.2 and the national average of 21.0. Neenah students had scored a 24.1 on the test each of the past three years and again ranked as the highest-performing public school district in the Fox Valley area. Neenah had 312 graduates take the ACT test last year. In addition, all juniors took the test for the first time and those scores will be released later this year.
Neenah’s reading score was its highest ever at 24.9, which was an improvement over its score of 24.6 in 2014. The English and math scores also improved as English was up two-tenths to 23.5 and math raised one-tenth to 23.7. The science score remained at 24.1 for the third straight year.
For the second straight year, Neenah had 48 percent of its students meet the ACT benchmark for college readiness in English composition, algebra, social science and biology, compared to the state average of 35 percent.
