Location and History: The size of Taft Elementary lends itself to closeness between parents, staff and students. Located just off a main city thoroughfare, Taft is on a quiet neighborhood street surrounded by the homes of students who attend the school. The building was originally constructed in 1956 and had an addition in 1970 and 1996.
