Distinctive Academic Programs: Hoover school is a 2006-07 New Wisconsin Promise School of Recognition. To be selected for this honor, a school must meet four criteria: be eligible for federal Title I funding; have a high level of participation in the free and reduced lunch program; student achievement must be above average for the state in both reading and mathematics based on state wide assessments; and there can be no noticeable lag in achievement for subgroups of students. We are very proud of the efforts of our teachers and parents to help our students succeed and of the results of the hard work of your students in all academic areas!
Parental Involvement: The Hoover Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), meets monthly and supports many enrichment activities at Hoover. They have recently been focusing on activities which bring together the families in the Hoover Community.
