Hoover Elementary Students to Work With Musicians in Residency
< Back
Hoover Elementary students will have the chance to learn from two well-known children’s musicians as Tom Pease and Stuart Stotts spend three days in residency and prepare students for an all-school concert on May 15.
Pease and Stotts will be at Hoover May 4 and 5. Each classroom in all grades will work with the artists to write a verse to a song and perform it for families, friends and community members at Neenah High School’s Pickard Auditorium on May 15 at 6 p.m. The performance is free and open to the community.
Pease and Stotts each give over 200 performances individually throughout the year at schools in the Midwest. Both are also frequent presenters at early childhood conferences and workshops. Pease is from Amherst Junction and Stotts is from DeForest.
The opportunity is being made possible by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley, the Educational Foundation of Neenah and the Hoover PTO. |
