Neenah School Fall Musical “Seussical the Musical” Set for October 9-13
Tickets are on sale for Neenah High School’s 2019 fall musical, “Seussical the Musical,” which runs for five shows Oct. 9-13 in Pickard Auditorium.
Shows will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9 through Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. with a 2 p.m. show on Sunday, Oct. 13. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens.
Opening night on Oct. 9 features the annual senior citizens dinner theater. Seniors are treated to dinner in the cafeteria prior to the show at 5:30 p.m. with music provided by the Touch of Class orchestra. Tickets for the dinner theater are $8 and include dinner and show tickets. They may be purchased at Door 3 at the high school Sept. 30 through Oct. 4 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tickets for all shows are are available in advance online or on the night of each performance at the Pickard box office. Tickets may be purchased online at rocketplayers.com. A service fee applies to online orders.
This whimsical musical is based on the books of Dr. Seuss and has become a favorite for kids and adults alike. Some of Seuss's most popular characters are cleverly woven into the main plot, which draws primarily from the favorite, "Horton Hears a Who." The Cat in the Hat narrates and is up to his usual antics, creating mischief throughout the show. Directed by Kathleen McCurdy, Seussical the Musical will be an interactive production as the cast reaches out to the audience and arrive from all different locations in Pickard Auditorium.
