Child Screenings

Child Developmental Screening

The Neenah Joint School District (NJSD) offers parents the opportunity to complete the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) online.  The ASQ is a screening tool that provides parents, educators, and healthcare professionals with reliable, accurate developmental and social-emotional information about a child.  The screening tool relies on parents’ expert knowledge of their child.  The completed questionnaire creates a snapshot needed to catch delays and celebrate milestones.

This developmental screener is available to families who meet the following criteria:

Information about the Child Developmental Screener will be mailed to households in Neenah when a child is nearing 3 years of age.  If you do not receive a postcard in the mail, and meet the criteria bulleted above, please click the link below to enter your information.

Upon completion of the ASQ, a member of the school’s Child Developmental Screening Team will contact the parent to discuss the results.

Evidence shows that the earlier a child’s development is assessed, the greater the chance a child has to reach his/her potential.

If you have questions about the ASQ, please contact Washington School of Early Learning at (920) 751-6990 or washingtonoffice@neenah.k12.wi.us.
