Neenah High School Spring Comedy Set for April 14-16
< Back
Neenah High School will host four showings of the comedy “After Juliet” for the school’s spring play April 14-16 in Pickard Auditorium.
Shows are set for Thurs., April 14 through Sat., April 16 at 7 p.m. each night. A matinee will also take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
The play was written in 1999 by Scottish playwright Sharman MacDonald as a follow-up to Romeo and Juliet and what happened to the Capulets and Montagues after Romeo and Juliet died. Benvolio, Romeo's best friend, is in love with Rosaline, Juliet's cousin, but Rosaline is bent on revenge. After Juliet was commissioned by the Royal National Theatre Connections Program. Connections is a program which has been giving young people aged 13-19 the very best new writing for theatre for the past 20 years.
Tickets are available at www.rocketplayers.com or at the door beginning one hour prior to each show. The show is recommended for mature audiences.
