Neenah Schools Offering Free Summer Lunches
< Back
All children ages 18 or younger will have the opportunity to receive a free bag lunch this summer four days per week at six different sites in Neenah.
The lunches will be available at Hoover Elementary, Lakeview Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Tullar Elementary, Wilson Elementary and the Neenah Public Library. From 11-11:30 a.m., free lunches will be available to students participating in all day summer school programs. From 11:30 a.m.-noon, students and community members not participating in full day programs will also be able to get a free meal at the school sites. The service at the library runs from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for all children aged 18 and under.
Lunches will be available Monday through Thursday from June 10 through July 18 with the exception of the week of July 1-4. During community service times, meals will be available for purchase at the cost of $4 each for any adult who would like to eat. Please keep in mind that all meals provided during these times must be consumed on site to qualify for the summer meals program.
Menus for all locations are available on the Neenah Joint School District food service webpage at https://www.neenah.k12.wi.us/about/foodservice.cfm in the bottom right of the page.
The program is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program.
