After earning celebrity status on FOX's MasterChef this past season, Neenah High School alum Emily Hallock will return to her alma mater for a special community event on Wednesday, November 7.
Hallock will share her experiences from Season 9 of MasterChef, where she reached the top 10 on the show. She will also prepare one of her signature dishes from the show and then be available for photos and autographs afterwards.
"A Night With MasterChef Emily Hallock" begins at 7 p.m. in Pickard Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with all proceeds benefitting the Neenah High School culinary arts program. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Door 3 at Neenah High School during the school day or at Ground Round in Neenah.
Prior to the show, a local restuarant showcase will be held beginningat 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Local restaurants will set up booths and provide samples of their products. Tickets are needed for the showcase. Restaurants wishing to participate should contact Lori Uvaas at luvaas@www.neenah.k12.wi.us by October 19.
Hallock, a 2008 graduate of Neenah High School, currently lives in Chicago and works in the food research business.
