Neenah High School will graduate 431 seniors at commencement ceremonies on Wed., May 31, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Ron Einerson Fieldhouse.
Commencement speakers for the class of 2017 are Jack Murphy and Kimberly Kemppainen. Murphy is the son of Jeff and Lori Murphy and attended Alliance Charter Elementary, while Kemppainen is the daughter of Philip and Paula Kemppainen and attended Clayton Elementary.
A total of 17 students earned the designation of the school’s highest academic honor, “Summa Cum Laude.” Students with Summa Cum Laude status have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average while taking a rigorous academic course load, including at least 38 advanced classes.
Summa Cum Laude graduates are: Erin Beachkofski, Logan Cutler, Basil Eastman-Kiesow, Alicia Giselle Gaytan, Veiga Goethel, Collin Haese, Serena Holte, Kimberly Kemppainen, Owen Krautkramer, Megan Last, Grant Mauthe, Caitlin McNulty, Rylee Mory, Christina Price, Ryan Roekle, Morgan Schreck and Nathaniel Zerrien.
A total of 169 seniors received financial scholarships to continue higher education at colleges and technical colleges.
