Another Staff Opportunity to Submit Facilities Survey
|
Recognizing that the format for the previous facilities study staff feedback request was a bit cumbersome, Bray Architects has developed a Google form for NJSD staff to submit through Friday, February 24. The questions are the same as the previous form and those who have already submitted the form do not need to do so again.
Staff members are encouraged to give wide-ranging responses and provide as much detail as possible. Responses may be specific to one building or District-wide. Those who work in more than one building should indicate their home school/building on the form.
It is important to note that the survey will be submitted directly to Bray in order to provide information for its final report this summer. District administration will not see the responses. Staff members are not required to provide their names, but it will assist Bray if they have any follow up questions to the responses.
The form may be found here: https://goo.gl/ZzKAkG

NJSD/Community Partnerships Resource
|
In an effort to create an efficient way to promote community and school partnerships, please consider sharing any contact information of community people you work with and it will be compiled into a spreadsheet as a resource for all District staff members.
For instance, maybe you have had a guest speaker come to your classes that others in the District may want to contact as well. Instead of having them try to research contact information themselves, the information would be easily found in this document. Some examples of how this might look may be found here: https://goo.gl/7y1Ms7
Please submit any partnerships to https://goo.gl/9X9IzD. Include the name of the organization, name of contact person (and phone number or e-mail address), the programs with which they have assisted you and what benefits they provide.
Hopefully this can be a great way for collaboration between schools and even different grade levels to enhance the community partnerships already taking place in our District. The responses will be collected and sent out District-wide. Please continue to send examples throughout the school year as the document will be continually updated.
Thank you for making a partnership for collective impact in Neenah!

Random Acts of Wellness Program Underway
|
Random acts of wellness are always their own reward—embodying healthy behavior can help you live a happier, comfortable, more fulfilling life, after all.
A random act of wellness is an action that exemplifies the importance of embracing a culture of health. Things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, taking a moment to meditate, hosting a healthy potluck or encouraging a coworker to walk with you all qualify as random acts of wellness.
Feel free to submit on behalf of yourself or your colleagues between Feb. 14-21. Both those nominating and being nominated will be entered in a drawing to win a Wellness Wednesday T-shirt!
