Neenah High School had 55 students honored for exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams during the 2017-18 school year.
The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program provides academically prepared students the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP exams. Overall, Neenah offers 20 College Board authorized classes to its students. Last year, a total of 284 Neenah students took 419 AP exams.
Neenah had 20 students qualify for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and posting scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Gabriella Mullally earned the AP Scholar with Distinction Award for the second straight year.
Four other students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and earning scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. A total of 31 students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with scores of 3 or higher.
