High School Orbit Program

Our Mission is to Serve

Parents, students, staff and community members are essential to the success of The Orbit and we appreciate your donations of needed items.  The donations we receive ensure that The Orbit closet is always well stocked and ready to supply those items that will support and comfort our students.  Any Neenah student who finds themselves in financial difficulty can visit The Orbit with their Counselor who will assist them in their selections.  Your donations truly make a difference!

Community Support

Parents, students, staff and community members are essential to Orbit and are welcome to donate new and like-new items at any time.  This will ensure that the Orbit closet is always well stocked and ready to supply those items that will support and comfort our students.  Any Neenah student who finds themselves in financial difficulty can visit the Orbit closet with a NHS staff member who will assist them in their selections.  Your donations will help make Orbit a success!

What We Provide

Personal Hygiene Items

Sometimes students may find themselves in a difficult position where having basic toiletries, like soap, shampoo, deodorant or laundry soap, may be a challenge.  In the Orbit, we take the worry out of this situation by being able to discretely supply personal hygiene items to students on an as needed basis. 

Clothing

The Orbit is stocked with new and gently used clothing for our students including sweat shirts & pants, jeans, t-shirts, and shoes.  We also supply winter coats, hats, gloves, and mittens to our students.

Non-Perishable Food

Some of our students may also find that being able to secure food after school and on the weekends is difficult. The Orbit stocks a limited supply of non-perishable food items like tuna, peanut butter, cereal bars, etc., that these students may take for weekends and after school as needed.

Make a Donation

Donating is easy, simply drop off new or like new items from the list on the right. Simply bring in your donations marked “The Orbit”, and drop them at the NHS main entrance (Door #1). 

Monetary donations may be sent to Shelley Aaholm at Neenah High School, 1275 Tullar Road, Neenah, WI 54956.

You may make an online donation through the Neenah Tomorrow Fund. Where it states “Gift in Honor of/Gift in Memory of/Gift Occasion”, please enter the key words NEENAH HIGH SCHOOL ORBIT.

We’ll also work to have holiday support opportunities for these students, so please check this page often.
