Luci LaLuzerne, LPC-IT, NCC |
Mental Health Therapist | Luci LaLuzerne, LPC-IT, NCC is a mental health therapist post-graduate trainee who sees clients ages 4-18 who are dealing with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, stress, relationship and attachment issues, grief and trauma.
With a particular interest in grief and forgiveness therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness, she uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach to help individuals identify strengths they already possess to instill hope. She believes it is never too late to improve and to change in healthy ways, and that working collaboratively helps find creative and innovative ways to build and maintain therapeutic relationships that improve resilience and develop treatment goals that work best for everyone.
Luci is a nationally certified counselor, and earned her Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from UW-Oshkosh.
Outside of Catalpa, Luci enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors – hiking, biking, kayaking and going for walks. She also likes traveling, cooking and watching movies. |

Megan McLachlan, M. Ed. |
Parent Peer Advocate | Megan is the new parent peer advocate with the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes through Positive Engagement) program. She works through NAMI Fox Valley, switching roles from her previous position of youth and family program coordinator to take on this exciting new opportunity with Neenah School District. She has been working with families for the past 20 years, as a family advocate and parent educator. In a previous career, she taught high school social studies, but enjoys working with whole families, to be able to bring about change. She has a husband and two teenage sons and has lived in Appleton for the last 12 years. She is excited to meet with families as they navigate new challenges with their children. |

Kristin Neubert, LPC, ATR |
Mental Health Therapist | Kristin Neubert, MS, LPC, ATR is a therapist at Catalpa's Westhill campus, and also provides school-based mental health services through the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes Through Positive Engagement) program in the Neenah School District. She specializes in anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, oppositional and defiant behaviors, social skills, and trauma, and sees patients ages 4-18.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Mount Mary University. Kristin is a licensed professional counselor through the state of Wisconsin and is a registered art therapist.
She has special interest in using art and mindfulness techniques to best meet the needs of clients. She believes that every client has a voice, and through both creative and traditional methods, clients can share their story. Kristin also uses cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength-based, art therapy, and mindfulness in her work with clients.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys running, yoga, spending time outdoors, art and cooking. |

Angie Schneider, MA, LPC |
Mental Health Therapist | Angie Schneider, MA, LPC is a Catalpa mental health therapist who provides school-based mental health services at three Neenah elementary schools: Taft, Wilson and Coolidge.
She understands that life is full of adjustments – such as divorce, death of a loved one, anxiety, depression and self-esteem concerns – that can cause physical, behavioral or mood changes. She has a particular interest in helping kids ages 5-18 deal with these kinds of situations, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Zones of Regulation, Client-centered Therapy, and Play Therapy in her work.
Angie has always been interested in helping others. She helped start a Peer Helpers program while still in high school. She also was a Social Work Navigator for the ThedaCare Cancer Institute for twelve years. After her father died in 2010, she saw a need for trained community counselors in schools for more specialized support, and returned to school for additional training, which led to her current role with Catalpa.
Angie earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from UW–Oshkosh and her Master’s degree from Lakeland University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of Wisconsin.
Outside of Catalpa, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, going to Wisconsin Badgers games, watching sports and taking family vacations. |

Ashley Strunk, CSW, LPC |
Mental Health Therapist | Ashley Strunk, CSW, LPC is a mental health therapist who treats patients ages 5-18 with anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, ADHD, and emotion regulation issues, and children who are adjusting to foster and adoptive families. She has a special interest in helping children who are working through previous trauma and children who are currently placed outside of their family home.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Marian University and a Master of Arts in counseling from Lakeland College. She is a certified social worker and is licensed through the state of Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Passionate about working with children, Ashley chose the counseling field to help them be successful in their own lives. She enjoys seeing the resilience of children who are working through challenging situations, and seeing them use tools and skills to overcome their own challenges. She typically uses strength-based family- or client-centered play, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
When not at Catalpa, Ashley enjoys baking, crafts, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Scooter. |

Anna (Girdauskas) Szyperek, LPC, NCC |
Mental Health Therapist | Anna (Girdauskas) Szyperek, LPC, NCC is a mental health therapist who works with children ages 5 to 18. She is especially interested in these areas: parent/child conflict, relationship issues, attachment issues, self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, emotional regulation, anxiety, and depression. A Licensed Professional Counselor, she is recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in psychology and human development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and a Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
She believes that, when provided with the right resources, everyone has the ability to thrive. She starts the therapeutic relationship by meeting children and their families where they are, and works to instill hope and build resiliency. She employs cognitive behavioral therapy, a focus on family systems, and person-centered and mindfulness approaches in her work.
Outside of Catalpa, Anna loves spending time with family and friends, running, biking, cross-country skiing, and playing with her two pups. |
