As the principal at Tullar Elementary School, I would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of Tullar! We have 409 children enrolled in our kindergarten through fifth grade programs.
Tullar has a reputation of being a very strong school community. Tullar boasts an impressive staff, including both dynamic veteran and energetic new teachers. Our curriculum and instruction help students learn to access and process information, learn to think, reason and problem solve, develop and demonstrate creativity and learn to deal with change. We are passionate that every child possesses the ability to learn. We accept with honor our role as educators in the current social and educational context of high-stakes accountability and the responsibility that reaches far beyond test scores. Therefore, we do not simply collect data. We also sort, filter, and use this data in all decision-making for continuous improvement in performance. We adhere to an explicit vision of quality teaching and learning. We share transparent values and goals for what students must know and be able to do.
We believe that learning is a lifelong process and we strive to provide a nurturing, safe environment where students can achieve. We recognize that every child is unique and we emphasize respect for every person and their special gifts. Our students are cared for in many more ways than simple instruction. Tullar’s educational staff maintain a child centered approach as they deliver a strong, challenging curriculum for students, maintain a sense of humor, and provide support for one another. The goal of every staff member at Tullar is to work together to forge deep relationships with all members of our learning community, including students, staff and Tullar families.
Tullar students care about their education, their community and their school. Our students model respect for all others, and are maturing to be positive, contributing members of the Neenah Community. Tullar staff members are dedicated professionals who strive to make each day an exciting, meaningful learning experience for our students. Tullar parents are involved in the educational processes of their children, and commit to working together with our school to make the most of these important educational years. We work in tandem to ensure every student at Tullar has an exceptional educational foundation.
Elementary school is an exciting time in the lives of young learners. We appreciate the positive support which we receive from our School Board, the Tullar families and the Neenah Community. Tullar is dedicated to delivering promises to students for a secure and successful future.
