Welcome to the Hoover Elementary School home page!  My name is Michael Tauscher, the principal of Hoover Elementary. I invite you to explore our web page to see how Hoover Huskies have a “passion for excellence.”

The Hoover Elementary School “passion for excellence,” began with its construction in 1953.  At that time the building had just eight classrooms, a gymnasium, a small kitchen and offices. After several years and two additions, Hoover School has expanded to include 14 classrooms, a newly built library-media center, a 30-station computer lab and a multi-purpose room.

Hoover Elementary School has an enrollment of over 300 students, educating children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.  Our staff of over 40 people provides each student with a rigorous curriculum, an opportunity to explore the arts and a means to be an active member of the community.

Hoover Elementary School is committed to its “passion for excellence” in education. From our special education services, to our multi-cultural approach to learning – each student has the tools and opportunities to succeed and be the best that they can be.
