Neenah High School has a long lasting tradition of offering jazz ensemble to its students. The Intermediate Jazz Ensemble rehearses once a week inthe evenings, and the Advanced Jazz Ensemble, since it is a class, meets daily during the second and third trimesters. These ensembles perform regularly in Neenah High School's Pickard Auditorium as well as in the WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival. They also participate in jazz festivals throughout the state, including Fox Jazz Festival as well as the Essential Ellington festival at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
