Test My Teen- Free Voucher for Drug Test kit for NJSD Parents (contact Vicki Bayer at NHS for more information)
*This test has a cut-off point for marijuana of 50 ng, which is equivalent to approximately a bowl or joint within 2-3 days for an infrequent user, or a bowl or joint a week for a heavy user. A test taken at ThedaCare, by comparison, has a cut-off point of 10 ng, which could result in a positive test from just being confined to an area where there is marijuana smoking taking place. Another option for a testing kit is to contact the Neenah Police Department, which distributes free kits to the parents in our community.

In an effort to promote a healthy school environment, the Student Assistance Program works in several ways. It not only provides a prevention element by educating students to make good decisions about the use of alcohol and drug abuse but also provides an early identification and intervention with students having chemical abuse or misuse problems or concerns, problems that can impede success in school.
How the program works:
The SAP office at your student's school receives referrals in the following ways:
Once a referral is received, the SAP staff will make recommendations for the student such as:
Neenah High School: 751-6900, ext. 115
Shattuck Middle School: 751-6850, ext. 123
Horace Mann Middle School: 751-6850, ext. 114
...or any of our K-12 school counselors.
