Neenah High School boys and girls diving coach Tim Foulks has been named a recipient of the David H. Robertson Award by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The award is annually presented to swimming and diving coaches across the country who have achieved five team state championships or five individual diving state champions. Foulks is the only recipient this year and the 238th coach nationwide to receive the award. He is one of nine individuals from Wisconsin who have been honored in the award’s history.
Foulks has coached six different divers to a total of seven state titles. He coached Hazel Hertting to state girls’ championships in 2013 and 2014 and her sister, Greysen, to the state title in 2012. He also coached four state boys’ champions, including his son, Nick, in 2007. Draven Feustel was the 2014 champion, while Alex Mishun won in 2008 and Jon Fox won in 2003.
Foulks is a five-time Wisconsin diving coach of the year. He was named the state girls’ coach of the year in 2015 and 2011 and won the boys honor in 2014, 2011 and 2008.
