Counselors and psychologists in the Neenah Joint School District are helping parents tackle many of their toughest issues in a seminar called "Parenting the Love and Logic Way."
This will be the third year of the program in Neenah where parents learn skills such as how to motivate, respect, discipline and relate with their children. The program has filled in the past and been highly popular. This fall, a day and night session will be offered. A day session will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays from Oct. 20-Nov. 24 at Washington Early Learning Center and a night session will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays from Oct. 15-Nov. 19 (no class Oct. 29) at Hoover Elementary School.
Neenah staff members involved with the program are Stephanie Levine, Renee Briester, Jamie Lasee, Lori Marzahl, Carla Mueller and Linda Wunderlich. Each of them went through a full Love and Logic training. Childcare for children ages 2-12 years old is provided at the night session. The sessions are limited to 40 parents and cost just 10 dollars per person.
In order to register, contact Stephanie Levine at email@example.com or call 751-6995 ext. 25116. Please include name, address, phone number, names and ages of your children, what schools they attend, how you heard about the seminars, which session you will attend and whether you will need childcare. The opportunity is open to the first 40 parents to sign up.
