The nomination process is underway for the inaugural Neenah Joint School District Hall of Fame. Anyone is invited to nominate individuals for the inaugural class, which will be inducted during homecoming weekend in 2015.
In order to submit a nomination, individuals can go to the NJSD Hall of Fame Website at www.neenah.k12.wi.us/community/NJSDHallofFame.cfm. Nominations can be made through an online form. The nomination form can also be printed and submitted through the mail or in-person at the District Administration Building at 410 S. Commercial Street. Printed nomination forms are available at the Administration Building as well.
Nominations will be accepted until Nov. 30, 2014 and selections will be announced in February 2015. The Hall of Fame is open to anyone who graduated from Neenah High School or had an association or employment with the District. It is designed to recognize individuals from a variety of different backgrounds. The only requirements are that nominees must be graduated from Neenah High School for at least 20 years or retired from the District for at least five years.
Nominations will be good for three years and five individuals will be selected each year by a 15-member committee. For the first year, the committee has discretion to name additional individuals. Deceased individuals are eligible to be nominated.
Any questions about the nomination process can be directed to Jim Strick in the District communications office at 751-6800 x225 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information is also available at the NJSD Hall of Fame website.
