A study of Neenah Joint School District facilities will continue with Board of Education meetings scheduled each month from June through September.
Meetings will be held on Thursday, June 21; Tuesday, July 31; Wednesday, August 22 and Tuesday, September 11. All meetings will be held at 5 p.m. in the Shattuck Middle School Auditorium and will conclude with an open forum at the end of the meeting.
Update (8/7/18): The August 22 and September 11 meetings have been cancelled. A meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at 5 p.m. in the Board Room of the Administration Building at 410 S. Commercial St.
The development of a community survey will be the primary focus of the June 21 meeting. The District is working with School Perceptions to create a survey to gather feedback from the community regarding facility needs. The Board plans to draw conclusions about what should be included in the survey and establish questions.
The process for the facilities study began with a review by Bray Architects during the past year. Five meetings have been held so far, beginning in February. The Board has established priorities of school safety, functional and reliable infrastructure and efficient use of tax dollars.
