Pacolt Receives UW-Stevens Point Outstanding High School Biology Teacher Award

Neenah High School biology teacher Dianne Pacolt has been selected as an Outstanding Teacher of High School Biology by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Biology Department.
Pacolt is completing her 17th year in the Neenah High School science department after teaching 13 years in Nekoosa. She will be honored at UW-Stevens Point’s 45th annual biology awards night on May 5.
Pacolt was Neenah High School’s 2015 Teacher of the Year and teaches advanced biology. She has worked closely with the school’s Health Careers Academy and Science Olympiad program. She also spent several years overseeing the People to People program, taking groups of students around the world for educational, cultural and educational activities.
Pacolt earned a Master’s Degree in teaching with an emphasis in biology from UW-Stevens Point. She earned a biology degree from Ripon College and has taken numerous continuing education courses throughout her teaching career.
