If you are a non-certified and/or support staff member who does not require a sub and have not yet had the opportunity to participate in this valuable training, NOW IS YOUR LAST CHANCE! Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings have been scheduled for October 25, November 10, and December 15. If you are interested in joining the more than 175 staff who have already attended this training, please contact Chris Christensen at cchristensen@www.neenah.k12.wi.us. ?? REGISTRATION NOW OPEN for the Attitude of Gratitude Program: Research shows it enhances our health in so many ways to show gratitude, including looking for positive things throughout the day versus letting negative thoughts ruminate in our minds. Participate in activities for the month of November like simply writing something you're grateful for on the program calendar for your chance to win wellness prizes. Register today through October 28 by clicking HERE. Lift your spirits and improve life satisfaction by participation in this simple program.
?? Congratulations to our Fox Cities Marathon event participants. This a final reminder that staff members that completed the Fox Cities full or half marathon receive a $20 Reimbursement and relay teams with 3+ staff receive $10 back through our Healthy You program. Just send Kelly Kelderman an email with your race confirmation, results, or bib picture by October 21, 2016.
?? We spend more time taking care of our teeth than our minds. Injuries like failure, rejection and loneliness get little attention unlike scratches and the flu. Guy Winch makes a compelling case to practice emotional hygiene in this TED talk worth watching, starting with positive self talk. Take care of your emotions with the same diligence you take care of your bodies.

Farmers from across the country nominated and selected the grant recipients. The program is awarding $2.3 million to rural public school districts to benefit STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activities. Neenah was one of 10 Wisconsin school districts to receive the grant.
The greenhouse consists of a composting area and a rain barrel project in order to study hydroponics, genetics in biology and sustainability. Students will grow produce to be able to use in farm-to-table meal preparation for the school’s culinary arts program.
