< Back
Three Neenah schools were among 34 schools statewide that earned Wisconsin School Health Awards from the Department of Public Instruction.
Horace Mann Middle School was one of 14 schools to earn the Gold recognition, while Hoover Elementary and Spring Road Elementary each earned Bronze awards. The award is in its third year and Hoover has been honored each year. Spring Road won for the second straight year and Horace Mann received its first award.
The award signifies a commitment to providing students with the knowledge and skills to make healthy decisions that will contribute to their academic success. The goal is to motivate and empower Wisconsin schools as they create and maintain healthy school environments. The awards will be presented at the Wisconsin School Health Award Ceremony on Oct. 28 in Wisconsin Dells.
