Students in Neenah High School’s Freshman Seminar classes are participating in a first-time “Wellness Week.”
The week features a variety of workshops for students to attend to help them practice new ways to take care of themselves in times of stress, sadness and trouble. Each student will attend three sessions of their choice on three different days. Staff members are leading the sessions in a wide range of different activities.
“One purpose of the Freshman Seminar class is to help students expand their skills sets,” said Neenah High School Principal Brian Wunderlich. “We hope the wellness week will give students a chance to learn new activities to improve their social skills and mental well-being. It’s also fun for our Freshman Seminar staff members to step away from their daily routine and incorporate some of their unique skills and hobbies.”
