Hibbs-Magruder and Lang Named School Board Student Representatives
< Back
Neenah High School students Madeline Hibbs-Magruder and David Lang have been selected to serve as student representatives to the Neenah Board of Education during the 2014-15 school year.
The student representatives provide the Board with updates on events at Neenah High School and give a student perspective during Board discussions. This is the sixth year students have contributed to the twice-monthly meetings. Both Hibbs-Magruder and Lang were straight-A students during the second semester last spring.
Hibbs-Magruder participated in the Politics, Law and Economics session at the Yale University Global Scholars Program this past summer. She is the president of Neenah High School’s National Honor Society and one of the chairpersons for this year’s homecoming activities. Hibbs-Magruder is a senior and daughter of David Magruder and Susan Hibbs.
Lang’s brother, John, was the first student representative to the Board in 2009 and currently attends the University of Pennsylvania. David is a member of this fall’s musical cast and participated in Act II show choir last year. He is a junior and son of Frederick and Jane Lang.
The Board of Education typically meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. at the Administration Building at 410 S. Commercial St.
