VEX Robotics Team Wins Northeast Wisconsin Tournament Championship

Neenah High School's VEX Robotics team qualified for both the state and U.S. Open championships after winning the tournament championship at the Northeast Wisconsin competition this past weekend in Oconto Falls.
The team was crowned tournament champions along with their alliance partners from Oconto and Xavier High School. The three championship teams were the only teams to qualify for the U.S. Open championships set for April 2-4 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Only six teams earned berths for the state meet March 2-3 in Milwaukee.
Neenah also won the prestigious Design award, which is presented to a team that demonstrates an organized and professional approach to the design process, project and time management and team organization.
Members of the team are Olivia Mauk, Zachary Hart, Eli Goethel, Joshua Sturgell and Connor Anderson. The team is coached by high school teacher Adam Hendries.
