Kindergarten registration is scheduled for the week of January 23 - January 27, 2012.  Registration is 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at your neighborhood school.  Registration will be open until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24 only.

Who:  Neenah Joint School District children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2012.

Where & When:  Prospective kindergarten children must be registered at the elementary school located in the attendance area in which they reside.  Registration in a given school does not necessarily mean that the child will attend classes in that building during the 2012-13 school year.

Parents/guardians can register their child for kindergarten at their attendance area elementary school.  Registration materials have been mailed to kindergarten students on January 11, 2012.  If you are new to the district and haven't received a registration packet, materials can be downloaded from the menu to the right or obtained at your attendance area school.

What to Bring:  Parents/guardians registering their child must show a picture ID to register the student.  Parents/Guardians should also bring the child's birth certificate and immunization records.

What to Expect:  You will fill out registration forms, or hand in completed forms if you downloaded them, and complete a questionnaire concerning your child's development and health history.  Children are welcome but do not need to attend the registration with you.  Registration takes approximately 5 minutes per student.

Parents interested in having their child(ren) screened  for possible early admission to kindergarten or first grade should call the Elementary Learning and Leadership office, (920)751-6980 ext. 110 to get an application.  Applications are requested by June 8, 2012.
